The State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, J. Ganbat, hosted a meeting with the newly appointed resident representative of the International Monetary Fund in Mongolia, Mr. Tigran Poghosyan, starting in July 2023. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Mongolia and the International Monetary Fund, as well as the current state of Mongolia's economy and its future prospects.
The term of office for Mr. Seok Hyun Yoo, the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Mongolia, will conclude at the start of July 2023. Following this, Mr. Tigran Poghosyan will assume the role of the new resident representative and will be stationed in Mongolia for a duration of three years.
