Contract No. and Title: G-6: Supply and Installation of SPS Laboratory Equipment and Reagents (3 lots)

Deadline for Submission of Bids: 25 May 2026, 15:00 hrs, Ulaanbaatar time (UTC/GMT+8 hours)

1. The Mongolia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Regional Upgrades of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures for Trade Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for G-6: Supply and installation of SPS laboratory equipment and reagents (3 lots).

2. The Ministry of Finance now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

          a. Lot 1: Laboratory equipment for bacteriology tests, i.e. equipment for  automatic sample diluting, counting microbodies with health indicator and the general number of microbodies, and                 automatic detection of pathogenetic microbody;

           b. Lot 2: Sophisticated laboratory equipment, i.e. gas and highly sensitive liquidchromatography, portable gas chromatography, and associated parts of such equipment;

           c. Lot 3: Laboratory consumables & equipment for narcotics detection, i.e reagents and standard samples, portable and non portable equipment for narcotics detection.

3. Open competitive bidding – International advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.



4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Finance and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given below, and from 09:00 to 17:00 hours.

5. The Bidding Document, in the Mongolian language, may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee in MNT100,000.00. The method of payment will be direct deposit to the project account:

                              - Account No./IBAN: MN840090100900011843

                              - Account Name: УМЭАХАБХАХСТөсөл

                              - Bank Name: State Treasury

The document will be sent by email stated on the written application. When requested, printed document can be received from the office at the address below. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 15:00 hours, Ulaanbaatar time (UTC/GMT+8 hours) on 25 May 2026. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of:

                             a. Lot 1 – US$ 3,800.00;

                             b. Lot 2 - US$ 19,000.00;

                             c. Lot 3 - US$ 2,800.00.

Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 15:05 hours, Ulaanbaatar time (UTC/GMT+8 hours) on 25 May 2026.

7. The Ministry of Finance will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
